Invoicing and Camp Forms

Upon receiving your daughter's registration form, we will advise you of her acceptance or her place on the waiting list. Following acceptance, we will confirm her registration at Oconto. In April, we will send you a statement of your account (balance of fees are due May 1st), a clothing list, and a bulletin detailing bus transportation and other pertinent information.

The Basic Camp Fee includes laundry service, all activities and activity awards. It does not include riding lessons, extended trips, transportation fess, or tuck charges; Bronze Medallion or Bronze Cross manuals.

Fee Policy

A deposit of $500.00 is required for all sessions. Balance of fees for all Campers are due May 1st. If withdrawal is made before May 1st, a $100.00 administration fee will apply. If the application cannot be accepted, the full deposit will be returned. Cancellations after May 1st for July campers, and June 1st for August campers, could result in loss of payments. There will be no refund of fees allowed for campers dismissed from camp or for campers arriving late or leaving early in the time enrolled. Interest will be charged at 2% per month on overdue accounts.

Dismissal: The camp director has discretion to dismiss your daughter from camp in the event that your daughter breaches camp rules, including the non-smoking, alcohol or drugs rule.

Tuck

At the end of your daughter's stay at camp, we will invoice you for any bus and riding charges she incurred and items purchased through our tuck shop. This may include such items as film, postage stamps, Chapel donations, toilet articles, candy and soft drinks, and manuals required for higher level swimming awards.

Transportation

Buses/Vans are chartered to camp and return from Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa at the beginning and end of each four week session. Bus/Van charges will be made accordingly. Please give at least four weeks notice of any flights we will need to meet.

Optional (English Style) Riding Lessons

We do our best to have campers ride three times per week, at a cost of $30.00 for each ride. Campers must sometimes decide if they would rather go on a canoe trip or other excursions and miss one or more riding lessons which are scheduled at the same time. When there is time, make-up lessons are organized. Campers should discuss this with their parents before making a decision about riding.

Riding Lessons: $30.00 per lesson. Campers must bring their own riding helmet to participate in this program. Camp will not loan or rent helmets. There will not be any double riding.

Clothing & Other Equipment

Exactly what each camper brings is a decision you as a family will need to make, however we strongly suggest that all valuables be left at home, and that you "use up" clothes, rather than send new ones to camp. Please ensure that all items are labelled.
